IFA holds annual international conference, inviting prominent scholars and practitioners in the field of finance around the world as the speakers. The first conference and declaration of the establishment of the association were successfully held in Solo, hosted by Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Sebelas Maret (FEB UNS) in January 2015. The second conference, in 2016, was held in Yogyakarta, hosted by Universitas Gadjah Mada. The third one was hosted by Universitas Indonesia in 2017, in Jakarta. The fourth conference was held in lampung, hosted by Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Lampung in 2018. In 2019, the conference was held in Mando, hosted by Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Sam Ratulangi.

This year, the conference will be held in the Indonesia Stock Exchange, Jakarta, on August 2020.
